Throughout this renovation we re-used/re-purposed a number of existing items in the house and the client purchased many used items from the internet and Re-store.  Island is actually made from what were the existing wall cabinets.

We removed the existing fireplace which opened up the whole space for better views and use.  Upper cabinets were re-purposed in the island.
